Flourishing Kingdom Culture Focus and Expectations
BCCA believes in the implementation, in our school, of the ACSI Flourishing Kingdom Culture Model. This model has five main constructs for the development of a flourishing kingdom culture: Purpose, Relationships, Well-being, Teaching and Learning, and Expertise and Resources.
We want BCCA to be a safe, supportive, nurturing educational environment made up of staff, students, and families that work together. Our focus is on the eternal kingdom of God and Christ’s example that He set before us as the center for everything we are and all we do.
As Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think on these things.” We should have a kingdom perspective and focus on everything we do, whether it be beliefs, thoughts, or actions.
Kingdom “Purpose” Construct

Our purpose at BCCA is to integrate a Christian-based spiritual perspective on all aspects of our lives, whether that be mind, body, heart, or soul.

Verse: “But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” - Exodus 9:16.
Kingdom “Relationships” Construct

We believe that establishing healthy and eternal relationships are essential to the Christian faith, as Jesus Christ, who was without sin, came to earth to die for our sin so we do not have to but, rather, can enjoy an eternal relationship with God as our heavenly Father. We only need to admit our sins, repent, and accept His sacrifice and forgiveness.

Verse: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” - John 3:16.
Kingdom “Well-Being” Construct

At BCCA, we believe that well-being is an essential component of a flourishing kingdom school culture. Therefore, we make sure to emphasize the importance of self-care as an effective tool in reducing stress, developing healthy coping, and promoting resilience in life’s daily ups and downs. We promote health and well-being of body, soul, heart, and mind through raising awareness of the value of physical, mental, emotional, financial, and spiritual well-being, and we consistently work towards the improvement of such in all aspects of the educational journey.

Verse: “Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.” - 3 John 1:2.
Kingdom “Teaching and Learning” Construct

At BCCA, we believe that all staff, students, and families need to be actively engaged in individual learning, both personally and professionally. Therefore, our staff is committed to ongoing learning and improvement through opportunities, such as individual and group professional development. We desire to see every staff member reach their maximum potential (in both teaching and learning) for our students to do so as well. This is why we encourage staff members to obtain licensing and certification, as well as why we are doing so as an organization.

Verse: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the servant of God may be perfected, thoroughly equipped for all good work.” - 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
Kingdom “Expertise and Resources” Construct

A sense of purpose at BCCA is essential. However, an even MORE essential is the ability of BCCA to have the tools and resources to carry out their purpose effectively. Therefore, BCCA focuses on employing staff with licensing and certification credentials or potential. In addition, innovative technology and trends drive our processes as well. We strive to provide equity in access to resources and opportunities for all students, regardless of socioeconomic status or any other area of potential bias. We accomplish this by offering tuition discounts, educational scholarships, fundraising, and grant research and application. BCCA has a strategic financial plan in place that we follow rigidly to ensure organizational sustainability for a long time to come.

Verse: “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides so that in all things, God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.” - 1 Peter 4:10-11.
Kingdom Focus: In conclusion, focusing on an eternal kingdom, rather than just being a part of this world, is the top priority at BCCA.

“If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world...” - John 15:19.

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” - Matthew 6:33.

“Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.” - Ephesians 2:19-20.

“Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” - 2 Peter 1:10-11.
